Meet John

John moved to the low country area after retiring as an emergency room nurse. Since retirement he has learned to play multiple instruments and enjoys spending his time traveling to nursing homes and assisted living homes to share his love of music with residents and their family members. John’s rheumatoid arthritis (RA) progressed rapidly and he was unable to play his instruments. Today, he came in with a smile on his face and an instrument in hand to share his talents and thank our staff for helping him get back to what he loves most!

“I have been going to Low Country Rheumatology for over 15 years and when I needed to change to an infusion style med for my Psoriatic Arthritis, I knew I couldn’t be in better hands. Everyone in infusion is so helpful, kind, and compassionate. The chairs are comfy, the blankets are warm, and the views are amazing. My only complaint is that my infusion only takes 30 minutes!”

- Rory

Our infusion patients are embracing the COVID-19 circumstances and getting creative with their face masks!
