COVID-19 Virus Update

We are OPEN.

Please take the following into consideration:

  • 1. Stay home if you are experiencing a fever, cough, or shortness of breath.
  • 2. Stay home if you have traveled to a known high-risk country (see link below)
  • 3. Leave guests at home, if possible.
  • 4. After checking in with the Front Desk, you can wait in your car and we'll call or text you when the physician is ready to see you.

We are taking the following measures:

  • 1. We are calling patients the day before their appointment to pre-screen them, as well as before they enter the lobby.
  • 2. We have trained and requested our staff members that do not work directly with patients to work from home.
  • 3. We have increased our facility hygiene procedures (examples: sanitizing waiting room chairs, exam rooms, door handles, etc.).
  • 4. We’ve reduced number of chairs in the waiting room.
  • 5. Increased distance between chairs in both our waiting room and infusion.

We encourage patients to keep their scheduled appointments and maintain treatment schedule, unless instructed otherwise by your physician. We will continue to update you regularly.

Treatment Options

There are many different types of treatment for rheumatic and autoimmune conditions, although many require infusion therapy.

Biologics

Medications that are used to prevent and treat rheumatic and autoimmune conditions, administered intravenously by a registered nurse.

Biosimilars

Medications that are used to prevent and treat rheumatic and autoimmune conditions and are highly similar, but not identical, to another biologic medicine. They are administered intravenously by a registered nurse. Biosimilars are required by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to demonstrate safety, purity and potency prior to approval.

Subcutaneous

Medications that are used to prevent and treat rheumatic and autoimmune conditions, administered by subcutaneous injection.
