Amanda Robertson, AGNP-C

Amanda was born and raised in Charleston, SC. In 2007, she graduated from the College of Charleston where she earned her Bachelor’s in Biology with a minor in dance. She worked in a rheumatology practice for several years before applying to a nursing program at Trident Technical College. In 2011, she graduated with an Associate’s in nursing. Following completion of the nursing program, she began working as an infusion nurse at a rheumatology practice.

After four years of working as a registered nurse, Amanda wanted to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse practitioner. In 2015, she was accepted into the Mary Black School of Nursing at the University of South Carolina Upstate campus. In 2016, she graduated with a Bachelor’s in nursing, and in 2017 she was accepted into the Medical University of South Carolina. There, she worked towards her Doctorate in nursing with a focus on adult and geriatric primary care, which she completed in the spring of 2020.

In March 2021, she joined Dr. Fink’s practice at Low Country Rheumatology as a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the Rheumatology Nurses Society (RNS), Infusion Nurses Society (INS), Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals (ARHP), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and Sigma Theta Tau National Nursing Honor Society.

She enjoys gardening and spending time with her two children, two cats, 3 dogs, and 11 chickens.
