Christopher Adams, M.D., FACP, FACR

Dr. Christopher Adams brings over 40 years of clinical expertise and holds dual board certifications in rheumatology and internal medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center. Following a distinguished military career as an internist, Dr. Adams pursued a fellowship in clinical immunology and rheumatology at the University of Alabama School of Medicine.

Having served as the Chief of Rheumatology at East Alabama Medical Center, he currently holds the position of senior clinician at Premier Rheumatology of Alabama. Dr. Adams actively contributes to medical education as a clinical faculty member and guest lecturer at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Auburn. His commitment extends to advocacy for arthritis patients, demonstrated through ongoing efforts with the Alabama Society of Rheumatic Diseases and past service on the Committee for Rheumatologic Care of the American College of Rheumatology.

Actively engaged in the medical community, Dr. Adams maintains membership in the American Medical Association and Medical Association of the State of Alabama. He is a Fellow in the American College of Rheumatology and American College of Physicians. For many years he has served the Alabama Society for the Rheumatic Diseases as their Governmental Affairs and Managed Care Liaison.
