Durga Adhikari, M.D.

Dr. Adhikari is a native of Nepal. He received his medical degree from Manipal College of Medical Sciences, Nepal following which he moved to the USA for further training. He completed internal medicine residency from Saint Agnes Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland, and a rheumatology fellowship from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina. After completing fellowship training in 2016, he served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC until 2019 when he moved to Charleston and joined Low Country Rheumatology.

Dr. Adhikari is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and is extremely motivated to provide quality care to his patients. He also volunteers as a member of the American College of Rheumatology Guidance Subcommittee.

Dr. Adhikari resides with his wife and one daughter. He enjoys spending his free time outdoors with activities like running, biking, and hiking.
