DR. SETIA IS ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS AT THIS TIME

Dr. Setia is from Athens, Georgia. She graduated from New York University as a Presidential Honors Scholar. She went on to attend the Medial College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia for medical school, where she was a member of the Alpha Upsilon Phi Service and Leadership Honor Society. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Boston University, where she was recognized for her work in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, and was
selected as Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Setia went on to practice in Hospital Medicine at Beth Israel
Deaconess Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School.

She completed her Rheumatology fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
During her fellowship, she received exposure to a wide variety of complex rheumatic diseases, including
additional training in inflammatory eye and neurologic diseases at the renowned Will’s Eye Hospital and
Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience, respectively.

Dr. Setia is certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American College of
Rheumatology. She has a passion for Patient Safety and Quality Improvement, and has presented her
work nationally on several occasions.

She spends her free time with her husband, an Atlanta native, and family. Dr. Setia is a lover of food and
travel, and enjoys learning to cook food of cuisines from around the world.
