Paula Anca Tanasa, M.D.

Born in Romania, Dr. Tanasa graduated from Carol Davila, University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania. She trained for 5 years in Internal Medicine at I. Cantacuzino University Hospital in Bucharest before moving to United States.

She completed internship and residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital, Englewood Program. After her training in internal medicine, she worked as Internal Medicine physician in private and academic practice. She joined Emory University in 2009, where she held an academic appointment teaching medical students and residents for 5 years.

Dr. Tanasa continued her education at Emory University where she completed a fellowship in rheumatology in 2016.

She is member of the American College of Rheumatology.
