Rohan Chawla MD, FACR

Rohan Chawla, MD, graduated from the University of Windsor, Canada with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Honors and a minor in Biochemistry. He pursued medical school at the Medical University of the Americas. He did postgraduate training in internal medicine at Ochsner Clinic Foundation Chabert Medical Center in Louisiana, and is board certified in internal medicine and in rheumatology.

He specialized in rheumatology at the University of South Florida, where he worked at Morsani Center for Advance Health Care, James A. Haley Veteran Affairs Hospital and Tampa General Hospital. He has completed an intensive musculoskeletal ultrasound certification through the Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists in order to provide specialized diagnostic and therapeutic musculoskeletal ultrasound care.

Dr. Chawla is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Rheumatology and Florida Society of Rheumatology. He has participated as a sub-investigator in multiple clinical trials. He is an adjunct assistant professor at the University of South Florida.

In his free time, he enjoys sports, going to the beach and traveling.
