Taylor Mader, M.D.

Dr. Taylor Mader grew up in the Texas hill country. She graduated summa cum laude from Texas State University with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and a minor in biology. She received her medical degree from Texas’s oldest medical school, University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston before moving to Charleston to complete her Rheumatology fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. While at MUSC she was Chief Rheumatology Fellow during her final year of training.

Dr. Mader is board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. Before relocating to Greenwood, she was in private practice in Pensacola, Florida. Her clinical interests include rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthropathies (psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, enteropathic arthropathies), gout/pseudogout, inflammatory myopathies, osteoporosis, lupus, Sjogren’s syndrome, and scleroderma. She enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with her husband, a native South Carolinian from Batesburg-Leesville.
